There are 9 twirling events with 3 age divisions, with a set time limit:
Solo Solo involves twirling one baton in vertical and horizontal patterns, in the left and right hands and in a continual flowing motion. Baton moves are selected from the three basic modes of twirling: aerials, rolls and contact material.
Content restrictions and penalties apply to Level B and Level A.

Athletes competing in all levels of Compulsory Moves shall perform the WBTF Elite Compulsory Moves. Set A or Set B shall be determined by random draw prior to the competition.
